With a three-chord, Ramones style of pop punk, the Queers formed in 1982 and gained notoriety across their hometown in New Hampshire with their debut album, 1990’s “Grow Up.” But it wasn’t until the 1993 release of “Love Songs for the Retarded” that the band’s following grew substantially.
